This site is dedicated to the hiking trails in Southwestern Nova Scotia, Canada.  My goal is to compile a list of the hiking trails and beaches in the area for other outdoor enthusists in Nova Scotia, mostly focusing on the counties of Shelburne, Yarmouth and Digby.  If there is a hiking trail or beach you are aware of that is not listed here, please contact me with the details so I can go explore it.

All descriptions are from my perspective as I will have personally visited each hiking trail and beach listed on the site.  I enjoy bringing my dog on all my hiking excursions, so you can expect some information regarding whether or not the area is dog friendly.

Please be respectful when visiting the hiking trails and beaches I have listed as you may need to cross private property to get there and it would be disappointing to lose access when it can be easily avoided.  I follow the simple rule that if I pack it in, I am sure to pack it out. I also ensure my dog is leashed when crossing private property or meeting other hikers.
